The Onion Isn't Kidding

This story might seem funny, but scroll down to the picture ostensibly from Baltimore, and it actually rings true. In the 2002 gubernatorial race, flyers with the advice to "make sure to vote on November 6th! And have any traffic tickets paid(or you might go to jail!)!" were posted in neighborhoods in Baltimore. The gubernatorial election was November 5th, 2002, and no one arrests you at the polls for having unpaid traffic tickets.
